Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. – The Beat Goes On…as we celebrate our 50th anniversary with a tribute to our local black history. We explore 50 years of black history turning points…
Performances Include:
- Tribute to New Bern’s 1st black Mayor, Mr. Leander “Lee” Morgan
- Morgan was Craven Community College’s Chairman of the Human Services Division before becoming mayor. Morgan served three mayoral terms.
- Interpretive Dance
