First-Year Experience continually develops and coordinates workshops, events and activities to help new students transition to the college environment. In addition to our programs and activities, there are many ways that you can get involved on campus – join a student club or organization, become a student leader, participate in campus programs, or become a tutor.
Panther Pride “Kick Off”
Your orientation to Craven continues with the Panther Pride “Kick Off” events for new and returning students. Panther Pride “Kick-Off” is a series of fun and interactive activities designed to help familiarize students with their campus and get them excited about the new academic year. Attending orientation activities is critical
to your first-year success.
Student Involvement Fair
Visit the Student Involvement fair to join a student club or organization or learn how to start one! You will have the opportunity to meet current student leaders and to find the involvement opportunities that match your interests.
Academic Programs and Resources Fair
Each semester the faculty gather in a common space to answer student questions and distribute material for their program or course. Academic support staff will also be available to provide information on the services and resources they provide.
