Weekend College

Race Toward Your Degree with Weekend College

Fast and flexible! Earn an Associate in Arts (AA) degree in 3 semesters (instead of 4) going to school online and over the weekends.

Classes are offered on Saturdays on the Havelock-Cherry Point campus with additional instruction online and are completed in 8 or 16-week units. New classes are offered throughout the year.

Craven CC’s Weekend College is for students who want to attend college but need a flexible learning schedule. Students enrolled in our Weekend College program attend online and on Saturdays in a friendly learning environment.

Developmental Math Shells that can be used for any developmental math class will run from 8 a.m.-12:15 p.m. See an advisor to register.


Completion of the Associate in Arts (AA) degree (60 credits) prepares students for transfer to bachelor degree programs at the 16 UNC-system public universities and 25 other private institutions.
