Our Heavy Truck Systems & Repair program will provide hands-on experience for fleet maintenance technicians, including brakes, exhaust, fuel systems, lighting devices, steering, suspension, frame, tires, wheels and rims, and windshield wipers in cars, trucks, heavy machinery, boats, generators, and more. This class will focus on instruction and training on topics including: transmissions, brakes, axles, electrical, steering, suspension, and HVAC systems on large trucks.

This course introduces the theory, design, terminology, and operating adjustments for heavy systems. Emphasis is placed on safety, the theory of operation, inspection, measuring, and rebuilding of heavy truck systems according to factory specifications.
