Like a jigsaw puzzle, economic conditions, corporate performance, the international backdrop and your investment decisions fit together to form a larger picture. But it can be hard to see a pattern among the various pieces of our investment outlook.
We’ll look at these key questions facing investors today:

- Will interest rates go lower or even negative?
- How long will the market slump last?
- Will global markets keep underperforming?
- What are the risks to our outlook?
- What common mistakes can I avoid?
How can I put all the pieces together?

Stocks: The Nuts & Bolts Teaches – basic information to help investors evaluate if stocks fit into their overall strategy. Discusses common versus preferred stock, dividends, investment strategy and different ways to own stock.
Focus on Fixed Income: Explains the basics of fixed income investments, the seven characteristics of, the advantages of laddering and how fixed income may be part of your investment strategy.
An Investors Tour of Mutual Funds: A detailed look at the features, benefits and risks associated with mutual funds as well as a map to mutual fund selection.

Amber Gibson is a DePaul University graduate with Bachelors of Arts Degrees in Sociology and Gender Studies. At DePaul she focused her studies on popular culture and social media, while pursuing her passion for photography and digital media production. After graduation Amber began selling art on Venice Beach. She built a photography and marketing business where she worked with clients, from LA to Vegas, to grow their brands through websites, print material, community events and marketing campaigns. Ms. Gibson has now relocated to New Bern, North Carolina to be closer to family.
