The updated Student Planning Self-Service Portal in Webadvisor provides students with a planning tool that tracks academic progress and helps them plan for the future. Through Webadvisor students can manage classes (register and drop sections), plan classes, manage financial aid (view balance and make payments), and so much more.
Once you log into Webadvisor, go to the Students menu; under Academic profile there is a link to the Student Planning Self-Service Portal. When you go to the portal you have the option to “View Your Progress” or “Plan & Schedule.”
Plan & Schedule allows students to look at a timeline, make a plan, register for sections, and view the schedules of possible classes. Students can view their schedule term by term, including all the courses previously taken and all the courses they are registered for in the current term. For the completed courses it will show the grade achieved.
The View Your Progress tab examines your degree program and shows progress for classes that have or have not been completed, as well as course options under each section of your intended course of study. This section also displays a student’s GPA, and next to every course it shows the letter grade the student received in that course. It also shows the GPA for each semester at the bottom of each semester’s section.
