Don’t miss emergency notifications from Craven Community College, including college delays, closing information and campus threats. Sign up for Rave Alert today, a new campus notification system that is replacing Regroup. Students, Faculty and Staff must register for Rave, even if you have received these notifications before.
Rave Alert is a mass notification system that can send communications via email, text message, or the Rave Guardian app. This system is available for all Craven Community College employees and students. Registration is required to receive these notifications.
Signing Up
Step 1: Register for Rave
- First and Last Name
- Registration Email
- Password for Rave Alert site
- Your mobile number
- Review the Terms of Use.
On the next screen, verify your mobile carrier and update if needed. Next, a confirmation number will be emailed to the address you provided. When the email arrives, click the registration link. You will then receive a text email with a 4-digit confirmation code. Enter the code in the Rave Alert page opened by the link and click Finish.
You’ll then be taken to your Account page where you can test your mobile number and email address. Rave will only be used for emergency notifications.
Step 2: Get the Rave Guardian App
The Rave Alert app, Rave Guardian, is available in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. With the Guardian app you can receive geo-targeted alerts and send confidential tips to Campus Security. Learn more about Rave Guardian (pdf).
Install Rave Guardian, and open the app. Enter the mobile number you set for registration. You will receive a code via text to the number you entered; enter the code in the Rave Guardian app. Enter the email address you supplied during registration.
