Global Initiatives at Craven Community College prepare our students to navigate and succeed in today’s interconnected global world through our Study Abroad Program, Campus Events and Workshops. The International Fest, held annually, introduces our students to the history and culture of various countries around the world sponsored by individuals from our community. Workshops, such as 2018’s Introduction to Global Competence, provide students with a deeper appreciation of ethical global practices.
Craven Community College’s globalization effort strives to establish and cultivate global competencies in our students and faculty through its curriculum, cultural enrichment activities, and group travel. In order to develop global competency, the College has invested in creating and facilitating short-term study abroad opportunities for its students, faculty, staff, and community.
