The Craven Community College Hurst Student Ambassador Program is a group of students selected to represent the College at various events and to create a campus culture of inclusivity.
Requirements
- Have a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher
- Provide two professional letters of recommendations
- Must maintain a full-time status (min. 12 credit hours) or part time status (min. 6 credit hours)
- Must provide a minimum of 110 hours per semester for full-time (fall and spring) OR a minimum of 55 hours of service per semester for part–time (fall, spring or summer)
Application Submission
To apply for the Craven CC Hurst Student Ambassador Program, complete the application below and submit two (2) letters of recommendation. Letters must be emailed directly from the person writing it to Emily Stewart at stewarte@cravencc.edu. Your application is not complete until your letters of recommendation are received.
Application Deadline
Online application and letters of recommendation are due by the last Friday in May to be considered for the following academic year. Applications are accepted throughout each semester. Interviews will be scheduled based on when applications are received, so please feel free to turn applications in early. There are a few events that you will be required to attend in the summer after acceptance into the program.
