If you’ve never attended Craven CC before, or if you are a former student returning after more than one year, follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1: Complete the Residency Determination (RDS) interview process

Step 2: Submit your application for admission to the college – view How to Create Your CFNC Account (video)

Step 3: Apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Step 4: Submit official copies of your transcripts from all that apply:

  • High School/Homeschool/GED Equivalent
  • College
  • Military

Step 5: If needed, schedule and take a placement test. To schedule your test or to find out if it can be waived, please contact the Admissions Office at 252-638-7430 or email Admissions.

Step 6: Register and attend New Student Orientation. All new students must attend an orientation session in order to register for courses for their first semester or term.
