Student Help Desk

The Student Help Desk provides technical support, assists with basic computer and technical needs, and is committed to providing information and detailed resolutions to common problems. Our wide-ranging support includes platforms such as Moodle, Outlook, and the Self-Service portal.

Help Desk technicians are available in our Academic Support Center during normal college operating hours and provide online assistance Saturday through Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. Contact them at 252-638-7212, or visit the Student Help Desk online or in-person within Academic Support in Ward Hall on the New Bern Campus.

If you need to reset your password, keep in mind that your Office 365, Self-Service, Moodle, and Outlook passwords will be updated as well. Please allow some time for a newly changed password to synchronize with Office 365.

Loaner Laptop Program

Student Services provides short-term laptop assistance for students enrolled in courses that require access to online and in-person instruction. There are specific requirements of eligibility to check out laptops each semester. Please view the Loaner Laptop Request Form to find out more information about our program.

Borrowed laptops must be returned at the end of each semester. Due to the risks of borrowed laptops being lost, stolen, or damaged, there is an appeal process if a balance is accrued due to an unforeseen circumstance. View the Loaner Laptop Appeal Request for details.

The Loaner Laptop program is offered at both the New Bern and Havelock Campuses.
