Technology is wonderful when it works, and disappointing when it doesn't. Read below to get assistance with your Panther ID and student email, and learn how you can get additional support.
Student Account Access Assistance
The Student Access Assistance form will help you with your:
- Multi-factor authentication
- Seven-digit Student ID Number
- Panther ID/username
- Password set up / reset
If you recently changed your phone number and cannot receive your verification code for two-factor authentication, please call Admissions at 252-638-7430 for assistance.
Once you receive your Panther ID, you will need your 7-digit Student ID number in order to create/reset your password.
Student Account Features
Your username (Panther ID) and password remain the same across all Craven applications, including:
- Microsoft Office 365: student Outlook email, Office software, and other resources
- Panther Portal: plan and register for classes, view financial aid, etc.
- Moodle: access your online and hybrid courses
Once your email account has been created, you must enable MFA in order to access Outlook and Office 365.
Don’t forget to sign up for Rave Alerts to be notified of campus closures, delays, and other emergency notifications.
If you sign up to receive text alerts, you can stop these at any time by sending a text message containing the words STOP or QUIT to 67283 (MRAVE) or 226787 (CAMPUS). To unsubscribe from email alerts, you will need to sign into your Rave Account and edit your preferences.
Student Help Desk
The Student Help Desk provides technical support, assists with basic computer and technical needs, and is committed to providing information and detailed resolutions to common problems. Our wide-ranging support includes platforms such as Moodle, Outlook, and the Self-Service portal.
Help Desk technicians are available in our Academic Support Center during normal college operating hours and provide online assistance Saturday through Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. Contact them at 252-638-7212, or visit the Student Help Desk online or in-person within Academic Support in Ward Hall on the New Bern Campus.
If you need to reset your password, keep in mind that your Office 365, Self-Service, Moodle, and Outlook passwords will be updated as well. Please allow some time for a newly changed password to synchronize with Office 365.
