Bruce Niemi has been a professional sculptor for over 20 years, creating his first welded sculpture in 7th grade. Raised in Gurnee, IL, Niemi now lives in Kenosha, WI, and has public sculptures in museums and residences across the country, including New Mexico, California, North Carolina, Illinois, and Wisconsin. The sculptures "Cu Culhain (coo-hoo'lin) is a significant heroic figue in the mythology of Ireland. This sculpure makes reference both to the sotry of his death in battle stapped to a tree and his transforming horrific battle frenzy.  For me, learning the myths give insights into the psyche of the Irish people and helps me understand my heritage with all its strengths and weaknesses."

Roger Halligan received his Master of Fine Arts degree with honors in Studio Arts from the University of Georgia After graduating, he joined the Exhibit Design Department at the North Carolina Zoological Park and was involved in the design and construction of natural habitat exhibits. Halligan was instrumental in the development of techniques used to create waterfalls, faux rocks and trees. He later left the Zoo to devote his time to fine art.

Halligan has exhibited in numerous individual and group exhibitions in the United States and abroad and has won many awards and commissions. His sculpture is in many public collections throughout the State of North Carolina. . Visit his artist website here.
