Thanks to generous supporters like you, we have several scholarship and endowment funds to help our students pursue their education at Craven Community College. You can donate now to one listed below or contact us today to establish your own.
College Campus Fund
The College Campus Fund is unrestricted and provides flexibility in responding to emerging priorities at Craven Community College. Funding priorities are determined by the Craven CC Foundation Board and staff. Funds are applied where the need is greatest.
General Scholarship Fund
General Scholarship Funds are awarded to students who exceed GPA requirements and who have demonstrated financial need. They are not tied to any particular area of study. The flexibility of this scholarship fund allows the Foundation to have an impact across program areas and support students with a wide variety of interests and professional goals.
Student Engagement Fund
The Student Engagement Fund supports a variety of student activities undertaken by classes, clubs, and organizations. The Foundation funds workshops, field trips, and skills and academic competitions, as well as special events and opportunities for student-led community engagement.
Faculty Enrichment Fund
This fund supports Craven CC faculty with professional and program development opportunities, including faculty travel, conference registration costs, program equipment, and/or supply expenses
Staff Enrichment Fund
This fund supports our Craven CC staff with professional and program development opportunities.
Workforce Development Fund
This fund supports students enrolled in Workforce Development training programs. Since students in these hands-on job skills programs may not be eligible for the same scholarships available to curriculum students, we provide workforce students with aid for registration and testing fees, tools, and supplies, as well as license and certificate fees.
Endowed Scholarships
Like all gifts to Craven Community College, endowed gifts contribute to the education of students in need of financial assistance in meeting their educational goals. Endowments yield a dependable, lasting source of funding because they fund scholarships in perpetuity. A named endowment can be created with an initial gift starting at $17,500. The Foundation offers a number of ways to establish an endowment, including installment payments, investment transfers, and direct gifts.
