Career & College Promise offers two unique pathways designed with different student goals in mind. When applying to Craven CC, you will need to specify which pathway you’re interested in.
Career-Technical Education Pathway
If you are a high school junior or senior in a career cluster program at your local school, this pathway will give you the opportunity to enroll in a Craven CC certificate program that aligns with your high school program. Available certificates include but are not limited to:
- Automotive
- Computer-Aided Drafting
- Criminal Justice
- Electronics Engineering Technology
- Health Information Technology
- Information Technology
- Machining Technology
- Medical Assisting
- Small Business Accounting
- Welding
College Transfer Pathway
If you are a high school junior or senior planning to attend a community college transfer program or a four-year college, this pathway will allow you to complete some of the core general education classes required during the first two years of a four-year degree. College transfer pathways include:
- Associate in Arts (AA)
- Associate in Arts - Teacher Prep (AATP)
- Associate in Engineering (AE)
- Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) - Visual Arts
- Associate Degree Nursing (ADN)
- Associate in Science (AS)
- Associate in Science - Teacher Prep (ASTP)
