FULL STEAM AHEAD

Delve into Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) in this week of fun and engaging hands-on activities. Participants will explore solar painting, creating soap-powered boats, designing and building a space lander, making ice cream, shooting Alka-Seltzer rockets, experiencing virtual reality, and much more. 3-D PRINTING WORKSHOP (CAMP IS FULL)

Step into the future with our 3-D printing extravaganza workshop. This hands-on workshop is great for any student interested in learning how to get stated in the exciting world of 3-D fabrication. Students will learn the basic hardware and software of a 3-D printer, where to find existing (and free!) designs, how to print existing designs, and tips for successful printing. Learn how to make fun, creative creatures and other ceramic pieces using pinch, roll, and other hand-building techniques. Pieces will come to life as young potters learn to glaze and fire their work. Campers will take home their works of art to provide lasting memories.*
*Since the pottery won’t be done in time for campers to take home at the end of camp, parents and campers are invited to attend a Student Art Show on Thursday, August 8 from 5 to 6 p.m.
ANATOMY CAMP

This camp is great for anyone interested in biology, health related fields, or veterinary sciences. Campers will investigate the systems of the body, learn anatomical terminology and directional terms. Through dissection, campers will gain an understanding of the digestive, circulatory, and muscular systems. Using models, we will discover how muscles function with the skeleton to allow for movement. Campers will also investigate the nervous system through the five senses, learn basics of microscopy and view the four human tissues, and use virtual reality to investigate all the systems of the body. Note: This camp will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
3-D MODELING WORKSHOP (CAMP IS FULL)

Embark on a creative odyssey this summer with our exclusive 3-D Modeling Workshop - where innovation and design converge for an unforgettable experience!
