Welcome to BibliU … Your New Bookstore

Craven has partnered with BibliU to provide students with digital textbooks that are easier to access, cost effective, and seamlessly integrated into course materials. The BibliU fee is included with regular tuition and course fees, which helps reduce overall costs to students and the need for physical textbooks.

This transition officially begins during the Spring 2025 semester. Students registering for classes, which begins with special populations on the week of Oct. 28, will be automatically opted into the BibliU platform. This means the cost of books for most classes will be built into course fees, which may be paid with financial aid for students who qualify.

Some classes will not be included with the BibliU platform. Students in these classes will be directed to purchase physical textbooks.

Frequently Asked Questions

The price for BibliU is a flat $90 fee per digital textbook (ISBN), significantly reducing your overall textbook expenses.

Since the charge is placed on your student account, you can pay the charge as you pay off all charges on your semester bill.

If you dropped the course before the opt-out deadline, you will receive a refund by way of the refund preference selected in BankMobile. If you drop after the opt-out deadline, you will still be responsible for the charge.

The deadline for students to opt-out for the spring 2025 semester are:

  • Regular/A Term – January 24

  • Flex Term – February 21

  • B-term - March 19

Students who opt out of the program will still pay the fees during registration, but receive a refund by way of the refund preference selected in Bank Mobile; however, refunds will not be issued until after the 10% mark of the course. Students who opt out will also lose access to the course material and competitive pricing, and will need to purchase the required course material on their own. Students should consult with their instructor before deciding to opt out.

Once you access the BibliU reader through Moodle, a link can be found in the banner at the top of the page. This will take you to a page to review a summary of your requirements and finalize opt out. Opting out encompasses the entire term and will opt the student out of all courses.

Early College students will continue to receive physical textbooks for many of their classes at no additional cost to the student. Other classes may utilize digital materials that include the $90 digital textbook fee, which will also be at no additional cost to the student. Any charges for these books that appear on an Early College student’s schedule will be charged to Craven County Schools.

CCP students will be automatically opted into the BibliU platform and required to pay the $90 textbook fee for each class.
