Every student is responsible for observing the rules and regulations of the College as published in the General Catalog and this handbook. The College reserves the right, without prior notice, to make changes in regulations, courses, fees and other matters of policy and procedure as deemed necessary. Craven Community College uses the names and/or photographs of students in various promotional materials, such as Dean’s Lists, listing of club officers, graduating groups, and others. If you do not want your name, town of residence, or photograph listed or used in public material, please contact the Public Information Officer in the Brock Administration Building.

Craven Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Questions about the accreditation of Craven Community College may be directed in writing to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033-4097, by calling (404) 679-4500, or by using information available on SACSCOC’s website (www.sacscoc.org). Normal inquiries about the institution, such as admission requirements, financial aid, educational programs, etc., should be directed to the appropriate institution office and not to the Commission’s office.
