Our Intro to Craft Brewing course is designed for entry-level brewers with little or no experience. You'll gain an understanding of beer styles, brewing technologies, and hands-on experience in brewing and tasting beer in a safe environment. Each class is limited to 15 students.

Requirements

  • You must be 21 at time of registration
  • You must sign liability waiver release forms
  • You must be ready to have fun

Weekly Course Outline

  1. Introductions and expectations
  2. Chemicals, sanitation, equipment
  3. Water, hops, extracts, grains
  4. Adjuncts, yeasts, fermentation, brewing
  5. Brew day, prep for bottling, all grain
  6. Bottling day
  7. All grain brewing
  8. Bottling all grain
  9. All grain debrief
  10. Graduation day
