Engineering Your Future: NC State Engineering Info Night

Engineering Your Future returns on April 9 for its second year as an exciting partnership between NC State University, Craven Community College, and local industry leaders. This free interactive event is designed to inspire and prepare students for high-demand careers in STEM—especially engineering—bringing together education and industry to showcase opportunities close to home.

High school and college students will gain valuable insight into engineering careers, academic pathways, and the many opportunities available in Eastern North Carolina. Participants will tour state-of-the-art facilities and connect directly with industry professionals to help shape and guide their future in STEM.

This event begins at 6 p.m. and a full schedule of events is listed below. 

Join us to learn about local engineering opportunities, including Craven Community College's Associate in Engineering program and the NC State Havelock Engineering Program. Discover what engineering is (and isn't!), how it differs from other STEM fields, and the exciting career paths available right here in Eastern North Carolina. Students and parents are welcome!

A unique partnership between Craven CC and NC State University allows students to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering without leaving the Havelock campus. Students also have the option to transfer to NC State after completing the first two years.
