Position Summary: Wright Insurance Agency is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team on a temp-to-permanent basis. The CSR will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and support for policy inquiries, changes, billing, and claims. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within the insurance industry while delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Support & Communication:

Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring a high level of service.

Provide accurate information regarding insurance policies, billing, and claims.

Address and resolve customer complaints with professionalism and empathy.

Policy Administration:

Process policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately in the agency management system.

Assist clients with quotes and applications for personal and commercial insurance lines.

Verify new customers' coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance documentation.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain detailed and up-to-date client records.

Schedule appointments and manage follow-up reminders for policy reviews.

Monitor client accounts for renewals, missed payments, and coverage lapses.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with agents and producers to support new business and retention goals.

Relay client feedback to management for service improvement.

Participate in training to enhance product knowledge and customer support skills.


Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.

1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably within the insurance industry.

Active North Carolina Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain within 120 days.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
