Craven Community College Nursing students recently got some hands-on practice to aid in their preparedness in emergency situations. The Registered Nursing students were put through a mock scenario that simulated many issues that would arise in a hospital setting during a hurricane on Thursday, March 29.

“We are studying national preparedness for the RN program,” said Donna Anderson, Craven CC nursing instructor. “We wanted to provide hands-on experience in emergency conditions, so we picked the hurricane scenario.”
