Craven Community College Teams Up with BibliU to Revolutionize Campus Store and Course Material Access

This new partnership marks a significant step in supporting Craven CC students, offering them affordable, immediate access to course materials while enhancing their overall campus experience.

NEW BERN – Big changes are coming to the campus store experience at Craven Community College (Craven CC). Starting in January 2025, Craven CC is partnering with BibliU, a leader in integrated academic and campus store solutions, to deliver an elevated experience and make course materials more affordable and accessible to students.

With BibliU stepping in to manage Craven CC’s campus store, students can look forward to a modernized space that offers everything they need—from course kits and school supplies to Craven CC apparel and branded gear—all available in store and online for ultimate convenience. Whether on campus or studying remotely, students will have easy access to the essential resources supporting their academic success.

With this partnership comes the introduction of BibliU’s Equitable Access (EA) program. This transformative initiative provides all Craven CC students with digital access to every required course material for a single, flat fee each semester. Gone are the days of hunting for individual textbooks or worrying about unexpected costs. With EA, every student will be fully prepared with the resources they need on day one, ensuring no one falls behind.

"We’re thrilled to be partnering with Craven Community College to help drive affordability and enhance student success. It’s an honor to support their mission, and we’re excited to strengthen our presence in North Carolina, a state we love and are proud to work with,” said David Sherwood, founder and CEO of BibliU.

“We are committed to enhancing the student experience in every way possible,” said Jim Millard, Craven CC VP for Administration. “Our partnership with BibliU will provide a bookstore that’s more than just a place to purchase textbooks—it's a hub for convenience, connection, and support, designed to meet the evolving needs of our students. We’re excited to offer an improved space that fosters success both in and out of the classroom."
