The Associate in Arts Teacher Preparation (AATP) degree program serves as the foundation if you plan to complete a bachelor’s degree in education in a non-STEM field at a four-year institution. Students pursuing the AATP will complete 45 hours of general education coursework in English composition, humanities and fine arts, social and behavioral sciences, and natural science and mathematics.
