If you’re looking to enter the workforce without going through an entire degree program, this short-term course is a great choice. It will introduce you to the knowledge and skills needed to enter and excel in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) field.

The course is broken down into topics including HVAC operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of residential and light commercial heating/cooling systems. You’ll also use diagnostic tools and procedures to identify problems and establish operating efficiency in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and standards. By the end of the course, you’ll earn your National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) HVAC Technology Level 1 certificate.
