Small Engine Mechanic

Jump-start your career and learn what it takes to repair and maintain a small two-stroke or four-stroke engine in our Small Engine Mechanic program. This short-term, in-depth course will teach you how to assess and perform routine maintenance on small engine/power equipment, from lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs to testing and inspecting for engine malfunctions. You will be taught to replace worn, defective, or broken parts, reassemble engine components, and follow manufacturers’ recommended general maintenance and repair of small engine/power equipment. The class will also include general combustion theory and principles.
