If you’re looking to enter the workforce without going through an entire degree program, this short-term course is a great choice. It will introduce you to the knowledge and skills needed to enter and excel in the construction field.

This program is broken down into topics including: orientation to the trade; building materials, fasteners, and adhesives; hand and power tools; introduction to construction drawings, specifications, and layout; floor systems; wall systems; ceiling joist and roof framing; basic stair layout; introduction to building envelope systems. Upon successfully completing this 305-hour program, you’ll receive National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certification in Level 1 Carpentry for the Core and Drywall.
