Will you be ready to celebrate the fall? It will be here before you know it, along with mums, cider, pumpkins, and fall wreaths to adorn your front door! This two-hour hands-on workshop is for beginners who want to learn how to create their own beautiful, long-lasting wreath. You will learn the step-by-step process of preparation techniques, design, and use of seasonal materials. The instructor will provide the required tools and participants bring the materials listed below. You will leave with a beautiful wreath to grace your home décor and personal style.

Tools that will be supplied by the instructor: 

  • Floral wire
  • Floral tape
  • Wire cutters
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Materials students should bring to class:

  • Grapevine wreath
  • Silk greenery bush
  • Small filler flowers
  • Roll of ribbon
  • Assorted silk flowers
  • Optional: mini seasonal items such as mini pumpkins, berries, etc.

About the Community Enrichment Program

The Community Enrichment Program (CEP) at Craven Community College provides a diverse array of non-credit, short-term, and affordable courses. Classes are open to anyone who wants to keep learning while having fun! Topics offered are based on community input and range in skill levels from beginner to advanced. Classes can take place in one session or span several weeks. Please note: CEP classes cannot be used for credit toward any of our degree programs.

Students may receive a full refund if a CEP class is canceled by Craven CC prior to the start date, or the student withdraws from the class before the start date. Complete details about CEP refunds are available in the Workforce Development section of the academic catalog.
