This course will present the Driver Operator with information related directly to aerial operations as well as all the information required to meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities to satisfy the key requirements of NFPA 1002: Standard for Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator Professional Qualifications (2017 edition). FIP-3626 transfers the complete series, in its entirety, to the Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM). This course should be offered consistent with the most current NC Fire and Rescue Commission guidelines; contact the Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM) for details. Effective date July 1, 2020/ NFPA 1002 Standard, 2017 edition.
