This is a hybrid class. The online portion will start on March 28, 2022.
The mandatory in-class dates are April 9 & April 30 from 0800-1800 hours at Craven Community College.
Required Course Materials
The reference text for this course is Jones and Bartlett Fire and Life Safety Educator: Principles and Practice, 2nd Edition.
It is recommended that every student have access to a copy of the text to prepare for class, study for the certification process, and complete the assignments and learning activities. Students should also have access to an internet-connected computer and their Craven Community College student email account. Students are encouraged, but not required, to bring a laptop to class for the classroom sessions.
