If you’re looking to enter the workforce as a mason without going through an entire degree program, this short-term course is a great choice. It will introduce you to the knowledge and skills needed to enter and excel in the masonry field.

The course is broken down into topics including: introduction to masonry, masonry safety, masonry tools and equipment, mortar, masonry units and installation techniques, and measurements, drawings, and specifications.

This course is 195 hours and includes mandatory Core Curriculum of 75 hours. If you have a Core Certificate, you can begin this class after the Core Curriculum section. When you complete the program, you’ll receive National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certification for Masonry Level 1.
