Excavation Competent Person Training

This 16-hour course meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P – excavations for personnel required to work in or adjacent to man-made cavities, trenches, and man-made cuts in the earth, and is filled with skills that will boost your employability. You will receive training in specific excavation requirements, protective systems, soil classification, sloping and benching, timber shoring, and requirements for a competent person. During the class, you will conduct an excavation inspection and construct and install protective structures.
