Enhance your food service job skills! In our short-term classes, you will learn about ServSafe®, the most current and comprehensive food training program in the industry, helping five million food service professionals learn how to handle and safely serve food and alcohol. The ServSafe® training and exam meets all regulatory requirements and quality assurance specifications for hotel and restaurant brands.

Our ServSafe® Education program will teach you the principles of safety and sanitation in the food service industry, as well as help your restaurant or food service establishment avoid a two-point deduction on the health inspection grade, as North Carolina regulations require all such establishments have managers on duty who are ServSafe® certified. Registration/payment closes three days before start of class.

You will learn about critical food industry components such as personal hygiene, cross contamination, time and temperature, receiving and storage, food safety management systems, training hourly employees, and more. This 18-hour course will provide you with 16-hour activity- and video-based instruction, followed by a two-hour online proctored examination.
