In addition to our accreditation, some programs offered at Craven CC result in the participants earning a license or certification. These programs have earned accreditation by industry-specific accrediting bodies. Please use the licensure contact information links provided within each Licensure Disclosure document to learn about the required licensing or certification for your desired program, as well as the state-specific requirements if you are a non-North Carolina resident that wishes to participate in one of these programs.

Beginning July 1, 2020, the U.S. Department of Education regulations require disclosures for all programs that meet the educational requirements for licensure or certification. Disclosures will be provided for all states and will indicate whether the program meets the state educational requirements for licensure or certification, does not meet the state educational requirements for licensure or certification, or a determination has not been made.

NOTE: If you are not a North Carolina resident but are considering a Craven Community College program that leads to licensure or certification, you must contact the licensing board in your state of residence before you begin the program. Students are responsible for clarifying licensure requirements in the state in which they live or intend to practice.
