The American Association of University Women (AAUW) Twin Rivers Branch presented a $1,000 scholarship to Craven CC student Andrea Torres on Tuesday, June 18.
AAUW is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1881, and the The Twin Rivers Branch was chartered in April 1997. The AAUW’s primary goal is to empower females through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
