The American Association of University Women presents Scholarship to Craven Community College Student

NEW BERN –The American Association of University Women (AAUW) Twin Rivers Branch presented a $1,000 scholarship to Craven Community College student Alexandra Casey on Tuesday, May 29.

AAUW is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1881 and the The Twin Rivers Branch was chartered in April 1997. The AAUW’s primary goal is to empower women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
