Craven CC accepting Scholarship Applications for 2020-21

Craven CC is now accepting applications for the Harold H. Bate, Craven CC Foundation of Excellence 2000, and the Craven CC Bookstore Scholarships for the 2020-21 semesters. To apply, visit https://cravencc.academicworks.com. Log in using your WebAdvisor account, click on Opportunities/Grant, and submit application. You will be notified within 5 business days of the status of your application. Funds are limited and are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.  

 The Harold H. Bate Scholarship will enable you to charge up to $700 (if enrolled 6 credit hours or more) or $350 (if enrolled less than 6 credit hours) Requirements: You must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), demonstrate financial need, have qualifying 2.0 GPA at the time of award, reside in Craven, Jones, or Pamlico County, and not be receiving other aid with the exception of the Bookstore Scholarship from Craven Community College.

The Foundation of Excellence Scholarship will enable you to charge up to $1,000 for tuition, fees, and books or required supplies (if enrolled 6 credit hours or more). Requirements: You must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), demonstrate financial need, have qualifying 3.0 GPA at the time of award, and not be receiving other aid with the exception of the Bookstore Scholarship from Craven Community College.

The Bookstore Scholarship will enable you to charge up to $200 (if enrolled 6 credit hours or more) or $100 (if enrolled less than 6 credit hours) Requirements: You must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), demonstrate financial need, and have qualifying 2.0 GPA at the time of award. The scholarship money is non-refundable and any unused amount will not be carried over. It will be returned to the scholarship fund each semester. If you are awarded federal or state aid during the semester you received the scholarship, it will be taken out of the awarded amount.
