Craven CC creates a new training course for jobs in high demand

The pandemic has some people still without jobs, but Craven Community College has a program aimed at getting people who are out of work employed.

Craven Community College officials say the program is aimed at creating a short-term way for people to get a certification in jobs that are in demand right now.

What used to be the New Bern City Garage will now be used to house a program for diesel mechanics and heavy machinery training.
