NEW BERN – Craven Community College (Craven CC) will host an event for early childhood educators (ECE) titled "Reinvigorating the ECE Workforce: Leadership and Support of Professional Pathways." It will be held Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Naumann Community Room, located in Ward Hall on the college's New Bern campus.

The event, in collaboration with Child Care Services Association, Craven CC Early Childhood program, and Region 2 Craven County Smart Start, is open to all early childhood directors, teachers, and family childcare home educators.

"This event will provide valuable insights into the various pathways of the early childcare and education workforce in North Carolina," said Maria Eid, Craven CC Early Childhood faculty. "Attendees will learn about the different Early Childhood Education degrees, diplomas and certificates offered at Craven Community College, providing a clear guide to entering the field. The session will also highlight how T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® scholarships can support many of these pathways."

Those interested in attending are asked to please register online here. To view information on Craven's Early Childhood Education program, visit CravenCC.edu/ECE.
