October was National Physical Therapy Month.

To help celebrate, the Craven CC Physical Therapist Assistant program adopted a “Students Helping Students” campaign to donate food and toiletries to the Craven CC Panther Pantry. The first and second year students (class of 2021 and 2020, respectively) competed to see who could collect and donate the most.

The winning class was the first year students. PTA Faculty Valerie Meadows supported the students in coordinating the effort and stated that they greatly appreciated the significant donation made by the Food Lion located on MLK Blvd in New Bern.
