Our Information Technology (IT) Security+ Prep program will teach you about topics including network and security foundations, operating systems concepts, security concepts, and secure administration. Security+ is a global certification that validates the baseline skills needed to perform core security functions. This program will help prepare you for employment in cybersecurity.
This is a certificate program and requires fewer credits and less time to complete than a degree or diploma program. Certificate programs can be taken alone but are often taken along with other IT programs.

This course provides an overview of security administration and fundamentals of designing security architectures. Topics include networking technologies, TCP/IP concepts, protocols, network traffic analysis, monitoring, and security best practices.
