This accelerated aviation maintenance program is designed to prepare individuals with civilian or military experience for the FAA Powerplant Technician certification. Through classroom discussions and hands-on shop exercises, you will become competent in the powerplant phase of certification in FAA-regulated aircraft maintenance. This course aims to provide students with principles, fundamentals, and technical procedures in subject-matter areas relating to the powerplant rating.

This is an FAA test-prep class that is approved for VA benefits. It provides opportunities to develop skills that are marketable and in high demand for many job openings with the Department of Defense.

Coupling classroom discussions and shop exercises, the individual will become competent in the Power Plant phase of Certification in FAA Regulated Aircraft Maintenance.
