This 40-hour course is designed to enhance interpersonal communication skills through exercises, practical applications, and case studies. This class content will bolster the confidence of all students and will encourage them to promote their training in all investigative conversations. They will leave the course with a level of confidence necessary to perform their duties in any investigative activity.

Students who attend this course will receive training in:

  *   The laws related to interviews and interrogations
  *   How to navigate the interview and interrogation environment
  *   Understanding the importance of interpersonal communication skills
  *   Developing strategies for any interview or interrogation
  *   Collecting, analyzing, and organizing the statement evidence collected in an interview

This course is fee-waived for all sworn and or affiliated law enforcement officers.

This course is a 40-hour designed to provide training in topics related to criminal investigation. Course topics may include, but are not limited to, basic criminal investigation, arson investigation, crime scene investigation, abuse investigation, drug investigations, evidence and case management, gambling investigations, interview and interrogation, sex crimes investigation, crime analysis, fraud investigation, fingerprinting, covert operations, gang activity investigations, cyber crime investigations, photography techniques and photographic evidence, auto theft investigation, psychological profiling, and developing and managing confidential sources. This course is fee waivered to all sworn and or affiliated Law Enforcement Officers.
