This welcoming, discussion-based course is designed for everyone, from casual readers and non-churchgoers to faith leaders seeking fresh perspective and deeper insight. No prior experience is required. Over eight weeks, participants will explore the structure, themes, and historical context of the Bible in an accessible and engaging way. Each session will introduce key passages, highlight different literary styles, and provide practical tools for interpretation and thoughtful reflection. The course is taught by Kirby Jones, who brings 28 years of pastoral ministry experience and earned his associate’s degree from Moody Bible Institute. His approachable teaching style makes complex ideas easy to understand while encouraging open dialogue and respectful exploration. Whether you are approaching the Bible for the first time, revisiting it with new questions, or looking to enrich your ability to teach and lead others, this course offers a balanced, inclusive environment for learning and dialogue.
