Are you looking for a career that helps people look their best? Barbering Concepts will assist you in becoming a professional barber-stylist. Full-time and part-time programs are available to accommodate your schedule and require no prior experience. When you complete the 1,528-hour course, you’ll be prepared to take the North Carolina Board of Barbering Examiners exam to qualify as an apprentice. Scholarships are available.

Please note: The full-time Barbering Concepts program runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The State of North Carolina requires medical residential facilities to have recreational activities for residents. In this course, you’ll learn how to lead these programs through lecture and hands-on activities. Class completion plus 25 volunteer hours at an assisted living or nursing home will be required to complete this program.

This 56-hour course meets the training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.178. You will receive training in operating instructions, review of standards, truck controls, vehicle stability, vehicle capacity, compositions of loads, clam shell forklift, and much more to keep you safe and effective in your forklift work. This training includes an operator evaluation. Cost includes tuition and insurance fee.
