In partnership with CarolinaEast, we now offer Environmental Services (EVS)/Housekeeping training. This course is designed to expose students to the requirements of serving as an EVS/Housekeeping employee in the hospital environment. While many cleaning procedures may be the same as working in other high-traffic settings, there are requirements and regulations that are unique to working in a healthcare environment. Additionally, this course will focus on soft skills that will ensure an employee knows what the expectations are for working in the hospital environment.

Give yourself a much-needed break from your hectic daily schedule with a relaxing meditation session. Meditation is a natural way of settling your mind to achieve relaxation and a state of calm. It is one of the most practiced ways we can take care of ourselves. In this class, you will learn four different types of mediation. You will then be able to select the type you prefer and have a basis upon which to continue your meditation practice. We use a chair for our practice and will not be using pillows or mats.
