Now Hiring: Fiber Technician
Come join us in the exciting world of telecommunications! No two days are ever the same. We are seeking a technician to fill an active route. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and diagnosing fiber optic systems, splicing cables, concealing wiring, and working with CAT-6 ethernet. Paid training and tool assistance is provided. This is a 1099 Piece Work position. Work area includes New Bern, Jacksonville and Havelock.
Requirements:
- Ability to carry and operate a 28/32-foot fiberglass ladder
- Comfortable working in tight spaces
- Able to follow instructions and work well in a team setting
- Capable of standing for long periods at a time
- Can provide own work truck or van
Prior experience and willingness to travel is a plus.
