Craven CC student and work study Alex Everest was surprised with a new bike, helmet and gear from the Bike Box Project, courtesy of Flythe’s Bike Shop, on Dec. 3. Alex is currently enrolled in the Associate in Arts program and plans to graduate in the spring and continue his education at the next level. In addition to faithfully serving the admissions team at the college, Alex plays a large role in his family dynamic, often taking care of his brother with autism and his mother who has many health issues while his father works to support the family. Regardless of these family challenges, Alex shows up to work every day with a warm smile and helpful attitude.
