See the world through a photographer’s eye. Chris Sweitzer, a student of Clinton Smith, a protégé of the legendary Ansel Adams, is teaching a hands-on photography class for beginners. He will teach you how your camera works and how to use its settings, whether you use a smartphone, a point-and-shoot, a DSLR, or a mirrorless camera. Explore using the special light of the "golden hour" and "blue hour" creating strong images. Learn how to use seasons, weather, framing, and visual storytelling capturing compelling landscape, nature, and portrait images instead of quick snapshots. Produce the exact image you picture in your mind. Bring your own camera equipment and practice using extra lighting gear to arrange your shots, read natural light, and master your camera settings. Whether you are completely new to photography or just want to improve, you’ll gain confidence using your camera to take more intentional creative images.
