This course covers Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations related to employee health and safety in confined work spaces. Students will learn about hazards related to confined work areas, which are defined as those with limited or restricted means of entry or exit and not designed for continuous employee occupancy, such as underground vaults, tanks, storage bins, manholes, pits, silos, process vessels, and pipelines.
