You may be eligible for job readiness training at no cost. Our Human Resources Development (HRD)/Employment Readiness program offers classes that prepare you for today’s changing job market and improve your chances of gaining employment.

Job Board - The Job Board is a virtual hub where area employers are able to network with our students and residents of Craven and surrounding counties.

Career Coach - Take a career assessment to find suggestions based on your interests and strengths, browse careers for data on wages and training, and browse our available programs that can lead you to the career you want. You can also get help building a resume and find civilian careers if you’re a veteran.

Career Readiness Certification - Register and learn what you need to take a Career Readiness Certification exam, which is a nationally recognized credential that can increase your employability skills and help you get the job you want. The exam can be taken in our Testing Center on the New Bern campus.
